For All Who Love Fabric.Although there were many fabric shops, it was surprisingly difficult to find designs we truly loved—this was a shared frustration among us as craft enthusiasts. As the internet became part of everyday life, it became possible to discover products from abroad. However, there were very few places in Japan where these fabrics could actually be purchased.
In 2011, we set out to change that by launching a business dedicated to importing textiles and selling them online.
Today, buying fabric online is nothing unusual. But at that time, most people still purchased materials in physical stores, and the shift to e-commerce within the craft industry was slow.
We began as a small, independent shop, and we continue to operate on a modest scale to this day. Through changing economic conditions and shifts within the industry, remaining small has, in many ways, been our strength—allowing us to adapt and endure.
We will continue, quietly and steadily, as a business rooted in our passion—serving creators from our small corner of the world for years to come.
