Today we are announcing that after Spring 2018 Quilt Market, the original designers of Cotton+Steel (Melody Miller, Sarah Watts, Rashida Coleman-Hale, Alexia Abegg and Kim Kight) will no longer design fabric for the brand. Their Spring 2018 collections will be their final releases for C+S. Cotton+Steel will remain RJR Fabrics' modern division, with new collections releasing at Fall 2018 Quilt Market. RJR Fabrics is forever grateful to their creativity, inspiration, and hard work in forging a path for Cotton+Steel. Our heartfelt wishes of success to Melody, Alexia, Kim, Rashida and Sarah in their individual pursuits and all future endeavors.

You are amazing, and we’ve loved every minute of creating fabric for you. Thank you for your kindness, enthusiasm, friendship, and support. We won’t ever forget it. なんと、COTTON+STEEL のデザイナーがブランドを離れることになったそうです。
ブランド自体はRJRに残るものの、
創立メンバーであるデザイナーがごっそりいなくなるとは。。。
今後は別のデザイナーを招いてやってくんでしょうかね。
RJRからの正式な発表を待ってみましょう。
